David “The Crow” Loiseau is a Haitian-Canadian mixed martial arts fighter. He was born on December 1, 1979 in Montreal, Quebec. David Loiseau developed his love for fighting from the tender age of 9 years. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a professional boxer. However, his parents disliked the idea and they enrolled him for karate classes. David Loiseau started taking karate lessons with complete dedication. Initially, he anticipated a carrier in boxing. However, his intense love for martial arts was far greater to restrict his fighting skills only to fists.
David graduated from Jean-Eudes High School in Montreal, Quebec. Renowned for his Tae Kwon Do, and deadly elbow strikes, David Loiseau uses both karate and boxing in his fighting technique. He has had an astonishing career in mixed martial arts; boasting of 14 winning fights and only 6 defeats. Loiseau has defeated impressive fighters such as Evan Tanner, Charles McCarthy and Gideon Ray
Loiseau has competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), EliteXC and TKO Major League MMA. He is currently the TKO Middleweight Champion. At UFC 58, Loiseau sustained a fatiguing 5 round championship match with UFC Middleweight Champion Rich "Ace" Franklin. David almost finished the match with a left hook knockout in the 3rd Round. Unfortunately, he lost the match in a 5 Round decision.
Known particularly for his powerful and quick punches, his most distinguishing features are undoubtedly his elbows, which are considered the most lethal elbows in the world of MMA.
David Loiseau’s titles boast of two-time World Middleweight Champion, two-time UCC Canadian Middleweight Champion, and Canadian Amateur Kickboxing Champion.
Currently, Loiseau trains for six days each week. He works out and practices tirelessly for five hours per day. David trains in Montreal, Canada and San Diego, California. His typical training course includes boxing, Muay Thai and submission wrestling.
