At Ultimate Fighting Championship 17:Redemption on 5/15/1998, Allan goes lost match against Dan Hendersen. Pride 4 on 10/11/1998 was a draw between Allan Goes and Kazushi Sakuraba. Pride 8 brought an electrifying victory to Allan Goes against Carl Malenko in 1999.
At the event Pride 9, New Blood, Allan Goes won against Vernon White. At Pride 13 and 19 he was defeated against Mark Coleman and Alex Steibling respectively. Meca Vale Tudo 8 brought about great victory for Allan against Carlinhos Lima via armbar submission on 5/16/2003. He lost via verbal submission at Heat Fighting Championship 2 against Gustavo Machado. At Rumble On The Rock 7, he won against Chris West Via knee bar on 5/7/2005. 2006 was a great year for him. He won International Fight League: World Team Championship on 9/9/2006 against Devin Cole.
Just after 2 months in November, he won against Daniel Gracie at International Fight League: World Team Semifinals. This match against Daniel Gracie was memorable as Allan Goes pounded Gracie and referee had to stop this fight. Just in 1 minute and 8 seconds in round 2, referee decided that Gracie could continue no more.
